- The minimum deposit required for opening short – term investment deposit account is 50000 Rials.

- The balance of short – term deposit account gains interest every day and the total interest is calculated at the end of each month and is paid on the first working day of the next month.

- The base for calculating daily interest of account is the least balance during the day.

- The minimum term of short – term deposit account is 30 days.

- For an account to gain daily interest , there should be a minimum balance of 50000 Rials every day.

- Every short – term deposit account holder is given a bank – book with the personal information of the holder printed in it , and every deposit to or withdrawal from the account is printed in the bank – book .

- The interest rate of short – term deposit account as payment on account (Ala – Alhesab) is currently 8% per year.
